FEBRUARY 14-20, 2022
The month of LOVE - red and pink hearts, valentine cookies, chocolates, candy, roses, valentine cards, expressions of love….even here in WALES! We enjoyed a delicious Indian dinner in Llangefni with the Gill family with popadoms and toppings (I pretended it was chips and salsa!), curry meat, amazing pitas and rices. It is probably our favorite meal we have had since arriving in Wales, or maybe because it was a welcome change from fish and chips! Mike lovingly created some wall hangings to hang above our desks. I LOVE him.
We spent an entire day inspecting elders and sisters flats in Liverpool. We didn’t get to see much of the city because of the time it took to drive between flats…but we did have some wonderful visits with the sisters and elders. While we have to inspect their flats, our goal is to lift them up and champion their victories. We LOVE them.
Our weekly discussion with Kev and Elisha was even better than the week before - if that is even possible. As we discussed the commandments, they were accepting, full of faith, and committed to live the commandments. They are working on overcoming some word of wisdom issues and are full of hope! Aiden Quilter joined the discussion, and Bishop Quilter and Melanie joined us for an American pancake ‘tea’ afterwards. We LOVE all of them.
STORMS….I hope the saying ‘March goes in like a lion and out like a lamb is true. We’ve experienced lots and lots of constant strong winds, heavy rains and cold temperatures. The first storm was named DUDLEY (which we were constantly teased about!)….to EUNICE….to FRANKLIN…to GLADYS. But look at what we saw after the storms…
We LOVE Marco Polo, FaceTime, Hangouts, Facebook, Instagram and any other media to see you and talk with you.
WE LOVE YOU
